High temperature Oxygen Index ISO 4589-3 -CEI 20-22/5 - ASTM D 2863

To automatically determine the minimum quantity of oxygen required for the combustion of the sample at temperatures up to 400° C. The apparatus determines the flammability characteristics of the materials used in the production of electric cables. The oxygen percentage is detected by a paramagnetic transducer (O2 accuracy <0.1%), and the combustion occurs inside the glass column.

The digital indicator continuously gives the oxygen concentration, the gas flow is checked by micrometric valves and the flow rate is monitored through a digital indicator.
The temperature is monitored up to 400°C both during preheating of the gaseous mixture and inside the column, where the sample is located, through PID temperature control.
An adapter in order to use the type-A pyrex glass column (450 mm high) of the model EA04 is also available.

Our Concept is to provide high-quality industry-specific design services even under the tightest budgets, deadlines, and we continually invest not only in new technologies, but also in our creative talent..
